Installation Update (July 2026)
Dear Friends of Sanford + Moore Halls,
Because of your generous support of the Sanford + Moore Hall Brick Campaign, you have soon left a permanent footprint where Niners once lived, laughed and learned, all while supporting future students through the Housing Scholarship Fund.
We are pleased to share an exciting progress update. Site demolition and landscaping on the former site of Sanford and Moore Halls are moving along beautifully and should be complete this summer. The area will be completely transformed into a welcoming open courtyard featuring fresh landscaping, walking paths, and outdoor activity spaces for students to gather and build community.
Once the summer landscaping wraps up, we expect to begin installing your commemorative, engraved bricks in the new walkway this fall! Your personal tribute to the memories we made will soon be a permanent fixture near the site where these two giants stood for more than half a century.
