Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve reached 51% of our fundraising goal for the Student Veterans of America Tournament. We’re officially over halfway there, and it’s all because of you.

Your support is doing more than funding an event, it’s helping our student veterans connect with one another and continue making UNC Charlotte a leader in the North Carolina student veteran community. You’re making a real difference for those who have served and for the future of veteran engagement on our campus.

We have a little over two weeks left in our campaign, and we would love your help spreading the word. I want to share an important update regarding the upcoming Student Veterans of America (SVA) Tournament hosted by the UNC Charlotte 49ers Chapter. To ensure maximum participation from chapters across North Carolina and to give our team time to make this event the best it can be, we have decided to move the tournament to spring 2026. This will be the one and only time we adjust the date, and we are confident it will allow us to deliver an even more impactful experience for student veterans statewide.

We are also excited to share that we have already reached 38 percent of our fundraising goal. A heartfelt thank you to those who have already contributed. You are helping us lay the foundation for a landmark event.

That said, our crowdfunding campaign closes in November, so every contribution between now and then is critical. Your support directly provides meals, resources, and opportunities for attending student veterans, helping us foster a better sense of community and enjoyment for participants.

Thank you so much for your generosity and belief in our mission. If you can help spread the word, we would greatly appreciate it. Together we can keep building momentum and ensure this spring’s tournament is a milestone for veterans across North Carolina.
