It has been a little over a month since our last update. The LatinX Student Union and the Gala Planning Committee are still hard at work. With the Gala being NEXT WEEKEND, we are in the home stretch and are finalizing all details pertaining to "Day Of" logistics. This year we decided to mix two themes into one and have come up with the theme "Heavenly Gardens"! The marketing team has been hard at work and has made several feed and story post on our Instagram @lxsuclt. We can't wait to start the 10 day countdown and share more updates with you all!

Every year since the inaugural LXSU Gala, the executive board has given the general body members of LXSU the opportunity to help and have a say in what the annual gala looks like. This year our third gala planning committee came to life with 30 general body members ready to tackle such a project. On October 17th, the gala planning committee met for the second time, and were able to break into three sub committees. A lot of work was done and we have narrowed down our list of potential vendors, figured out ways to spread the word about crowdfunding and FINALIZED the theme for this years gala. Although we will be keeping the theme secret for a little longer, we can't wait to share more updates with you all :)
