Engage ME! or Engage Multicultural Engineers is a Lee College of Engineering diversity and inclusion program designed to successfully recruit, retain, and graduate multicultural students with degrees from engineering, engineering technology, and construction management programs. The goals of this program consist of building a robust community of the College of Engineers students, connecting with students to social networking activities, and fostering academic and professional development.
The main pillars of the program include:
The Engage ME! program needs your support to help fund activities such as it's professional mentoring program, student development workshops and panels, site visits, job fairs, and direct support to engineering student organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). With your help, UNC Charlotte students can offer an opportunity to the low income and underrepresented minority groups to learn about engineering through the Engage ME! program.
Please make a gift of any amount today to support the Lee College of Engineering diversity and inclusion program!
