Dear CCI Dean’s Council and Friends:

I wanted to thank everyone for his or her participation in the CCI Alumni Gives fellowship & fundraising event in October. It was a fun evening at the Wine Vault. Thank you so much for joining us.

We have the final numbers. Twenty-five folks attended the event. The total raised was $3,484 contributed by 18 donors. Each of the students who spoke at the event made a gift to the scholarship. Three people have now donated two years in a row: Chad Currier, Maryalicia Johnson and Paul Bates! In addition, several people could not attend the event and donated during Niner Nation Gives two weeks before.

A big thanks goes out to Paul Bates who donated the wine for the event, so all your donations went directly to the scholarship.

The scholarship fund is now at $14,366. As a group, we set a goal to raise $25,000 by June 2019 to reduce CCI student debt. We need $25,000 to begin awarding scholarships. We are over half way there. I will not be able to attend your meeting on Dec 8th, so please think about 2018 and how we can make progress towards our goal.

The event could not have happened without the folks who served on the planning committee: Rachel Chesley, Allen Donatelli and Paul Bates. As you can see from the donor honor roll, we have definitely increased awareness and participation in the scholarship! Thanks for all the work!
