About Disc Golf Club at UNC Charlotte

We’re a student-run club of 30+ Niners who bond over early tee times, late rounds, and a shared love of competitive disc golf. From casual group rounds to high-stakes collegiate tournaments, the Disc Golf Club at UNC Charlotte gives students a place to compete, connect, and represent Charlotte on a national stage.

Whether you’re brand new to the sport or chasing podium finishes, this club is about showing up - for each other and for Niner Nation.

Why We’re Fundraising

We’re raising funds to send our teams to collegiate disc golf tournaments - especially Nationals.

Sending one team of four players to Nationals costs about $540. This does not include housing or travel, just the entry fee alone. With a roster of 31 active members, we’re aiming to send two or more teams so more students have the chance to compete at the highest level of collegiate disc golf.

Bottom line: talent isn’t the issue - funding is.

Why It Matters

Tournaments are where our players grow, compete, and put UNC Charlotte on the map. For many students, these trips are:

• Their first chance to travel for a sport they love
• A huge resume and leadership builder
• A way to feel truly connected to campus and community

For alumni, this is a chance to support the next generation of players chasing the same passion you once had. For community supporters, you’re investing in student success, teamwork, and representing Charlotte beyond campus.
