This is the 28th consecutive year of the Spanish Language and Culture in Costa Rica program at UNC Charlotte! Help our students gain linguistic and cultural competency as they study abroad for a month in the capital city of San José.
During the program, students attend language classes for four hours per day and go on cultural excursions to museums, markets, national parks, and more. All activities are conducted in Spanish. Students also stay with local host families to further the immersion experience. They will also be visiting a local orphanage this year to care for the children, practice their Spanish, and donate much-needed materials.
Donations to our Crowdfunding campaign will be used to help defray the growing cost of transportation, materials, and other supplies. Your donation of any amount is greatly appreciated!
