Niners Care: Hurricane Relief Fund

Hurricane Helene has brought devastation to Western North Carolina and surrounding states. It may take weeks to fully understand the total destruction.  Our sister institutions Appalachian State University, UNC Asheville and Western Carolina University, have been hit hard by the storm. The universities are still assessing damages, but Niner Nation was ready to assist in any way we could. 

The University established the Niners Care: Hurricane Relief Fund to support the students, faculty and staff at these institutions as they recover and rebuild. All funds raised are being distributed to these three universities to help with their areas of greatest need. 

Update: match completed! Head Football Coach Biff Poggi and Assistant Head Football Coach Jon Jacobson have pledged to match all donations raised up to a total of $50,000.

Because of Niners like you, we were able to stand in solidarity with Mountaineers, Bulldogs and Catamounts during this difficult time and provide much needed support.
