We are extremely excited to be traveling to the NCVF National Championship Tournament this April. This will be our third year attending this event, as we have began to expand our club in the recent years. We provide a space for women to enjoy volleyball as well as connect with each other. We have created fun events such as a themed practices and team bonding activities. We also volunteer for events on campus and attend other athletic club functions to show support. While we are always laughing and having fun, we also thrive to be a successful and competitive team. We visit other college campuses in, and around, North Carolina to compete with other high-level club teams. As our club continues to improve and strengthen, we hope to establish a reputation throughout our state (and hopefully others)!
2023 Nationals Tournament
This national tournament is an exceptional way to further promote our club and demonstrate the skills of our talented members. Last year, were were fortunate enough to attend and compete against club teams from across the country. The tournament is located in Kansas City, Missouri and they host hundreds of teams for three days of highly competitive volleyball. It gives every club volleyball team a chance to represent their school on and off the court. Outside of the competition center, we explored the culture of the city by visiting the Historic Kansas City Station and enjoying the local cuisine. We are committed to providing a chance for future club members to enjoy this experience.
As we travel to Kansas City again this year, we are looking for support for our team during their trip. Expenses such as hotels, flights, and transportation during this tournament are our main priority. However, our teams also attended 4-5 tournaments each semester. Many of these tournaments are registered tournaments in which the results are used during the ranking process of all teams attending the national tournament. With this in mind, it is important for our teams to perform well throughout the semester. Aspects such as jerseys, tournament entrance fees, and equipment are all used throughout the year to support our success.
As our club grows, we would love to be able to best support our members by providing them with the tool necessary for success.
