Our Crowdfunding Groups
This is the third year of UNC Charlotte having an active club field hockey team. Every semester we have scheduled more and more games and these uniforms are essential for helping us play to the best of our ability. They will allow us to have better visibility on the field, build a greater sense of unity, and instill pride within the team as we represent UNC Charlotte. These uniforms will be used for seasons and years to come by all players who come through our program. When our team wears a uniform, we are no longer just one person playing a game, we are part of a unit, which means we win together, we lose together, but more importantly, we have fun together. We all belong to different groups around campus, and there's a pride that comes with wearing a team uniform and representing not just yourself but your entire team. Every player should take pride in the dedication they put into this team and this sport, and the team uniform will help reflect that, even during the off-season.
This spring we have a busy schedule. We are hosting two home games and attending two away tournaments. We are hoping to have these uniforms by April 13th for our last home game and our Senior Day. This team has worked tremendously hard this past fall and we have no doubt this spring will be any different. We feel incredibly lucky to represent UNC Charlotte at home and as we travel this season to Wilmington, NC and Winston Salem, NC. UNC Charlotte is apart of the National Field Hockey League where we organize and schedule games. When playing in a league we are held to the highest standard of sportsmanship and professionalism. These uniforms will help aid us and grow our program in this aspect.
Here are some behind the scenes pictures from this past fall! We had team dinners, got to watch the US National Field Hockey Team play on our home field, hosted University of South Carolina, had friendsgiving, tabled on campus, celebrated Halloween at practice, and took lots of selfies!
Your donation will help cover the cost of uniforms, and other expenses related to Field Hockey (the team/program/group, etc.)
