Detachment 592 is looking to host our annual Dining Out Ceremony and we are looking for donors looking to invest in the next generation of U.S. Air Force & Space Force officers!
The Dining Out Ceremony is a formal banquet in dress uniform that honors and recognizes cadets in the detachment for their accomplishments. This ceremony replicates active duty Dining Out banquets and exposes our cadets to what it is like to be an Officer in the Big Blue. We are looking to raise $2200 to help cover this significant event and minimize or eliminate the cost that our aspiring leaders have to pay. Your investment, no matter how small or large will assist with food catering, award presentations, and subsidizing tickets.
Thank you for your willingness to support our Nation's next generation of military leaders. See pictures below of our previous Dining Out Ceremony.
Very Respectfully,
Before Winter Break, we held our annual Dining In Ceremony! Unlike Dining Out, Dining In is informal. We played into the informal aspect and went full force with a morale boosting Holiday Party!
The UOD was ugly sweaters, we had a Grog, cookie decorating contests, and more!
Prior to the festive fun, we had an awards ceremony. During the ceremony, we presented 5 scholarships contracted three cadets, and handed out several awards. Thank you to the MOAA for providing our cadets with 3 scholarships.
Thank you to C/Patel, C/Budny, and C/LaBo for all their hard work organizing this event!
We were fortunate enough to be able to invite Officers from nearby bases and our alumni to our Annual Alumni Tailgate and MAD football game at UNC Charlotte!
It was a noon game, so we had a brunch spread for the tailgate. After our brunch tailgate, the Cadet Wing marched to the football game, escorted by the Campus Police Department.
Cadets, Alumni, and Officers then enjoyed a great football game against Western Kentucky University where our Det 592 Honor Guard performed at the beginning of the game.
Thank you to everyone who was able to come out and thank you to our donors for supporting us and allowing us to do activities such as this!
