Did you know that making a gift, of any size, to UNC Charlotte can really help 49er students?
Here are some facts about giving to UNC Charlotte:
1. By making a gift, you are investing in other 49er students. You will be paying it forward because of support from Niners (alumni and students) who paved the way for you.
2. Without scholarships, many students would not be able to afford to attend UNC Charlotte.
3. Student and alumni participation in giving affects US News and World Report rankings of UNC Charlotte, so the more students and alumni that give, the higher value your degree will have!
Leave your Legacy on Campus
This year, the Class of 2022 is staking its claim through a brick campaign to benefit Student Success initiatives, including the Mental Health Assistance Fund, The Alumni Book Scholarship Fund, and The Evergreen Scholarship Fund. Every gift of $49 or more, made by or on behalf of a graduating senior, will be honored with a personalized brick in 49er Way. We need your help in donating to this fund!
The Mental Health Assistance Fund provides support for students who are referred to outside providers by the University and need assistance in covering the costs associated with seeking off-campus mental health care.
The Alumni Book Scholarship Fund was created by UNC Charlotte alumni to aid students with a demonstrated financial need in purchasing textbooks. This scholarship will help to alleviate the cost of textbooks for the students that need it most.
The Evergreen Scholarship Fund is a unique and flexible scholarship fund designated to help our students with their ultimate goal - to graduate. The fund allows the University to evaluate current enrollment, student retention rate, financial aid, and graduation gaps annually. As a result, the Evergreen Scholarship Fund allows the University to combine several donors' gifts, regardless of size, to leverage additional funding for students to get them over a small financial hurdle.
We have been challenged to reach 499 donors before commencement in fall 2022.
If we reach our goal, we will get an emblem placed on 49er Way near the stadium dedicated to the class of 2022. Make your gift today to support current and future Niners!

Your brick will be located along 49er Way, between Cameron Boulevard and the football stadium, which is one of the most traversed and photographed routes on our UNC Charlotte campus.
It is also the path that our Charlotte 49ers football team, band, and Niner fans take during home football games.
