Charlotte 49ers Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is seeking support in order to send 3-5 student-athletes to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Diversity and Inclusion Forum. More than 500 higher education and intercollegiate athletic leaders and student-athletes come together each year at the NCAA Inclusion Forum to discuss programming, engaging dialogue and practical takeaways to empower student-athletes on equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives on their campuses.
The forum will allow the 49er student-athletes to explore how others are addressing inclusion, educate and empower them to be influencers. SAAC hopes to send as many student-athletes from UNC Charlotte to this special initiative but needs your help paying for the transportation and lodging costs. This year, the NCAA Inclusion Forum will be in Denver, Colorado on April 17-19.
