Thank you for supporting the #GivingTuesday project benefiting Veterans Services. I am happy to report that we not only met our goal of $2,000, but thanks to an $800 matching gift challenge by veteran alumnus, Mr. William Crowder, we have exceeded our goal to raise $2,800. Veterans Services will now be able to purchase 14 smart pens to help create an ideal learning environment in the classroom for Niner student veterans.
Your support will make an immediate difference for our student veterans, and for that, I thank you.
Please view the video to see how the UNC Charlotte campus community came together on #GivingTuesday to give back to our military in more ways than one.
With just 22 hours left in the campaign, one of our veteran alumni has agreed to match all donations dollar for dollar, up to $800, towards our #GivingTuesday Veterans Services project. Please help us spread the word so we can reach our goal tonight!
We had a successful #GivingTuesday on campus today as Niners signed 1,500 holiday cards to send to our North Carolina National Guard troops deployed to Bosnia. We were also able to collect $170 in donations for the smart pens thanks to our ROTC and student veterans volunteers. We are 25% of the way to goal with plenty of time left. Please help us spread the word so we can make it to $2,000! #UNCC4VETS
