Global Business Brigades at UNC Charlotte

Global Business Brigades (GBB) is a student-led organization which is centered on a brigade on which members work with local businesses and community-owned banks in rural communities around the world such as Panama or Honduras. Global Brigades believes in teaching sustainable financial plans in these rural places where business owners do not have the opportunity to be successful on their own.

In order to successfully execute this brigade, Global Brigades Inc. has a leadership conference once a year open to members of global brigades organizations throughout the US. This conference is in place to help reiterate the mission of GB and help GB members to successfully and effectively execute not only the chapters on their campuses but also the brigades that they will go on. This conference provides necessary leadership skills and provides the opportunity for members to have conversations with representatives from around the world.
