Our Crowdfunding Groups
Global Medical Brigades (GMB) is the largest student-led social responsibility movement in the world. Students from various universities and colleges across the nation lead brigades to rural communities within Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras to implement free health clinics alongside licensed healthcare professionals and community leaders. This year, GMB will be sending 30 UNC Charlotte students to Panama in May 2019.
This fall, we are raising support for our summer 2019 initiative to Panama. Students from UNC Charlotte plan to travel and bring medical supplies and equipment needed at medical and dental clinics in Panama. The funds raised will not only help cover the cost of materials that are desperately needed to provide essential healthcare but it will also help alleviate the financial cost for students' transportation and lodging needs.
