Thank you to everyone who supported the Niner Student Food Pantry during the crowdfunding project last fall. We have two exciting announcements to share.

First, University officials, students, faculty and staff gathered in the backyard of the pantry on the edge of the UNC Charlotte campus on Wednesday, Aug. 31, to dedicate the brick structure as the “Jamil Niner Student Pantry.” Read more about the dedication here.

Also, the new stove, refrigerator, and microwave have been purchased and installed in the pantry! Thank you to everyone who supported the project and made the appliances purchase possible. 

Yesterday was the official grand opening of the Niner Pantry's new location- 1224 John Kirk Drive! Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, and community members who came to show their support. More to come soon.
