About Our Department

The Department of Aerospace Studies hosts AFROTC and the Aerospace Studies classes. The aerospace department gives many different opportunities to the cadets in AFROTC. Some of those activities include Dining In, Low Ropes Course, officer career days, base visits, and many more. 

Why We’re Fundraising

This year, the cadets in the Aerospace Studies Department are hosting a Dining-Out Ceremony, participating in the Low Ropes Course, hosting an officer career day, and more. These events broaden cadets' leadership skills, provide career-broadening opportunities, and build camaraderie. Any excess funds will go towards the possibility of constructing an obstacle course and Leadership Reaction Course (LRC) on campus for Army and Air Force cadets.

Our goal is to broaden cadets' knowledge of Air Force careers, continue their leadership development, and build esprit de corps within the Department. Funds raised will support:

• Catering and venue costs for Dining In

• Awards and recognitions for cadet excellence

• Cost to host an officer career day

• Develop cadets' leadership skills with Low Ropes Course
  
  

Why It Matters

For many of our cadets, these are more than events - they’re a milestone and an opportunity to grow as a leader. It builds esprit de corps, reinforces military heritage, allows cadets to continue to grow, and supports the next generation of officers.
